How Zero6 Creative collects, uses and looks after your personal information.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Who we are
Zero6 Creative — Digital Studio (NZBN 9429044906238) is a digital studio based in Levin, Horowhenua, New Zealand. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Zero6 Creative.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.
What we collect
If you use the enquiry form on this website, we collect the information you enter into it:
- Your name
- Your business name, if you give one
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give one
- Your current website address, if you give one
- Whatever you write in the message field
Only your name, email address and message are required. Everything else is optional.
If you contact us by phone or email instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, understand what you need, prepare a quote or proposal, and carry out work you engage us to do. That is the only reason we collect it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing lists or newsletters unless you have separately asked us to.
Who else can see it
When you submit the enquiry form, it is processed and delivered to us by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. Your submission passes through their systems, which are located outside New Zealand. Your enquiry then arrives in our business email inbox.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not control what Google does with it.
This website uses Google Analytics, which sends information about your visit to Google. See "Cookies and analytics" below for what that involves and how to opt out.
If you become a client, we use Google Workspace for email and file storage, HubSpot to manage client records, and Hnry for invoicing and payment. Each of these holds some of your information in order to do its job, and each stores information outside New Zealand.
Apart from those, we do not share your information with anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to by law.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get visited, how long people stay, and which links get clicked. We use this to make the site better. We do not use it to work out who you are.
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and collects your IP address, your general location, your browser and device type, and the pages you view. Google processes this information on servers outside New Zealand. We do not control what Google does with it beyond the settings available to us.
We do not run advertising, remarketing, or social media tracking pixels on this site. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before switching it on, not afterwards.
You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally either way — nothing here depends on analytics loading.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it after 24 months.
If you become a client, we keep records relating to the work for seven years after our last dealing with you, which is the period Inland Revenue requires business records to be retained.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including access-controlled accounts, a password manager, and reputable service providers. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is never intercepted.
If something goes wrong and a privacy breach happens that is likely to cause you serious harm, the Privacy Act 2020 requires us to tell you and to notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. We will do that.
Artificial intelligence
We use AI tools in our work — for drafting, research, writing code, and analysis. Being straight with you about that matters more to us than pretending otherwise.
We do not upload client customer databases, contact lists, or bulk personal information into AI tools. Where we use AI on material that contains personal information, we use tools operating under business terms that prohibit using our input to train their models. Where it is practical, we remove identifying details first.
A person reviews anything an AI tool produces before it is used or delivered. AI tool providers process information outside New Zealand.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
Email hello@zero6creative.co.nz and we will respond as soon as we can, and within 20 working days as the Act requires.
Complaints
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, contact us first so we can try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.

Our Privacy Officer is Daniel Tunley. Any question, request or complaint about your information comes to him.
